Just a Note

I had just enough time this morning to put together a quick card using another Whimsy and Stars image that was released yesterday.  I thought the sentiment from Stampin Bella just fit this little "Back to School" image - and it would be a perfect notecard for any time of year.  My green and blue colors are perfect for the Southern Girls color challenge, as well!

New Release Tomorrow!

Hi friends!  There's a new release over at Whimsy and Stars tomorrow and look at this sweet little bear that will be available!!  She makes me want to hug her!!   I used the SCS Sketch for this week and a digi for the challenge at Amber's Crafts.  I'm also entering it in the Creative Card Crew's "Child's Play" challenge, cuz this reminds me of a little girl's toy.

The sentiment is special to me, because I was in a pretty intense car accident on Monday and was able to walk away without serious injury.  There are pictures on my other blog if you'd like to see!

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check out the new releases tomorrow at Whimsy and Stars!

Too Cute!

I was sorting through my stamps this weekend, and found this adorable puppy that was part of a set from The Angel Company a few years back.  I always thought he was the sweetest thing, and when I saw Heather's sketch for this week, I knew he would be a perfect fit.

I chose the colors so I could play in Kerry's Color Throwdown.  What an easy way to put together a card!

Have a happy day!

This Card is...

Definitely out of my comfort zone!  I am more the brad, eyelet, stitching, organdy ribbon, type gal, than the rhinestones, lace and glitter kind!  But Verve has a challenge on right now with a recipe to follow, and it gave me a good excuse to think "outside of the box" and play a little with some of my neglected Verve stamps.  It was fun to play with a "chunkier" image that I didn't have to color.  I haven't done that in ages.  I'd almost forgotten how!  All in all I like how it turned out.  Sort of shabby chic-ish. :-)

Thanks for stopping!

Viva La Verve!

I haven't played in a Verve sketch challenge for awhile, so my stamps have been getting dusty.  Too bad, especially since they are such pretty ones!  This is an older Plain Jane and the sketch is from the Viva La Verve sketch challenges on SCS.

A Spring Basket

Verve has a challenge right now to make a card or project that screams "Spring", and this card definitely fits the bill for me.  The colors and the image and the flowers and bunny...  SIGH!

The image is from Deedee's Digis and the sketch is from CardPatterns.  I'm also entering it in the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge to make a card for a child, and the Digital Tuesday Easter challenge.

Hope your day is sunshiney!

Spring and Fall

Happy April!

I have the fun of being a guest designer for Doodle Pantry Digis this month and today is release day.  Woohoo!!

I made two cards for this release.  The first uses the precolored version of the Floral Hats digi, along with some of the pretty digi paper, and a clean and simple sketch.

Then we go from Spring to Fall and this adorable "Falling Ants" set.  There are both outline and precolored versions of the ants, and sentiments and flowers just in case you'd like to make spring cards instead of fall ones.  How's that for versatile!!

I used the outline version of the digis and colored them with copics.  The clouds are hand cut out of designer paper.

Be sure to visit the other designers and the Doodle Pantry blog to see all the sets and digi paper being released.  SO much to look at!!

Thanks for stopping!

Blessings!

Searching for Spring

I had so much fun coloring this "Searching" digi from Whimsy and Stars, and she worked perfectly with the sketch from Just Us Girls.  And I'm also entering her in the Anything Goes challenge at Craft Your Passion.

Sentiment is from The Angel Company.

Coffee Time

When I saw this new set by Deedee's Digis, I picked it up right away!  It's a perfect card for my DH's lunch box or suitcase to let him know that I love him.

I used the sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges and colored my bear with copics.

Have a happy day!
