{Stamp Simply}Elephant Smiles

Hi everyone!

Did you think I dropped off the face of the earth?  Nope, just made a flying trip to see my daughter before she starts college next week.  I thought this card would be appropriate for her!  I used the adorable Collectable die cuts from Kaisercraft for my elephant and tulip and popped them up over a matted sentiment from JustRite's Black Eyed Susan set.  The enamel dots are by My Mind's Eye and add just a little pop of color.

Here's my shopping list!

Thanks for stopping by!

{Stamp Simply} Wonderful Friend

Hi everyone!  I was super busy last week filling up my SplitCoast gallery during the DTGD challenges.  I made "queen" status with 49 cards in seven days.  WOW!!  I decided that if I could be that productive with card making, I should try it with home making, too, so this week I've started on some deep Spring Cleaning because I was too busy during the spring.  LOL!  Hopefully I'll get all caught up and then I can work on getting my blog busier as well.  Hmmm.... maybe by fall???  : )

For today's card I pulled out a number of Prima Lady Bird goodies from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I had a paper pack, a set of metal bird paper clips, some washi and fabric tape and then some Prima Laraine roses that all worked together.  I added a pretty JustRite sentiment from the Pansies in Spring set, cut with a JustRite/Spellbinders die, some luscious 1/4" silk ribbon in two different colors, and finished it off with some MME enamel dots.

Here's my recipe...

{Stamp Simply} Butterfly Smiles

I've been having so much fun with the challenges on SplitCoast this week!!  I can't tell you the details of this one, though, because these particular challenges are secret - just for Fan Club members.  You should join!! : )

I had this luscious Pickled Pear paper out on my desk, so I colored a butterfly from the Stitched Flowers set with coordinating Spectrum Noir markers and popped it up over my background made with strips of designer paper, Lacey Circle Diecuts, a punch-out circle from the paper pad and a sentiment from the Black-Eyed Susan set.  I added a smattering of rhinestones for some glitz.

I really, really love using the stitched look stamps that JustRite has available right now. Especially because they look cute even if you don't add a lot of shading to your coloring.  Check them out HERE!!

Here's my shopping list...

{Viva La Verve} Delight

Hi everyone!  I took a few minutes to play along with a couple of challenges this afternoon.  I needed an anniversary card, and the colors and Viva La Verve sketch from this week were a perfect starting place.

I used the Verve sets Joyful Blooms and the Psalm 37:4 Plain Jane... which is now only available in a set, I think.  My paper is from Stamp Simply - Prima Lady Bird.  I love the colors, don't you??

I colored my flowers with Spectrum Noir markers and cut the sweet foliage with my new Verve dies Sprightly Sprigs.  SO pretty!!

I'm entering my card in this week's Curtain Call challenge, too.  The colors and stripes work perfectly with the inspiration photo!

OK - that's it for now.  I'll be busy on SCS this next week playing along with the yearly DTGD challenges.  I'll be uploading tons to my gallery, but it might be quiet here. : )

TTFN!
