{TCP Tuesday} Raindrops

stamps:  Rise and Shine (TCP)
paper:  Kaisercraft Spring Bloom (Stamp Simply)

Time for a TCP Tuesday challenge card!  It was a sketch challenge this week.  Fall brings cold raindrops with it in my part of the country, so I colored up my sweet BunBun with his umbrella to coordinate with this fun Kaisercraft Summer Bloom paper.  Besides, it has orange in it and orange is a fall color, right?? : )  The tag is actually part of the paper pad and I stamped it in Gina K Ocean Mist ink with some of the raindrops from the set.

{Stamp Simply} Fall Leaves

This card looks like my yard!  It's covered ankle deep in pretty autumn leaves.  Which I love except when it makes my allergies flare up. : )

I started this card by stamping a piece of kraft cardstock with the JustRite Burlap background, and adding a strip of Basic Grey Evergreen patterned paper.  Who says Christmas paper can only be used on Christmas cards??? : )  I added a Doily and then stamped, colored, and fussy cut a number of leaves from the JustRite Fall Applique set.  I stamped my Verve Sentiment on a piece of vellum in dark brown ink and embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.  I centered it on the strip of vellum so I could attach it by wrapping it around my kraft layer and adhering it to the back.  Then  I attached the whole layer to my card base with 3D Foam.  I added a little bow made of Gold String for some sparkle.

{Lili of the Valley} Coloring Again!

I've been coloring again!  This time I inked up James and his snowman.  I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers on Gina K's Heavy Base Weight White cardstock.  It colors SO beautifully!  I'm entering this in LOTV's Anything Goes challenge.

{Stamp Simply} Pink Smiles

Hello!  It's Stamp Simply day on my blog!  We have gone pink this week in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, so I have a fun pink card to share with a few more goodies on it than my usual fairly clean and classic style...

I used the fun Bokeh Dots Background stamp to make my background.  I first stamped it in Versamark ink onto my watercolor paper panel.  Then I clear embossed it and applied a wash of two or three different shades of pink using my distress markers and water.  I cut out my label with the Vintage Tags die and sponged it while it was still in the die.  I added some pretty lace and fun pompoms and a little of my favorite - dotted sheer ribbon.  The flowers are actually 3D stickers and I just dressed them up a little by adding a rhinestone to the center of each.

Here's my supply list...

and a close up of the coloring....

I colored my bird with Spectrum Noir markers, then cut it out using a Square die.  I handpierced the edges after I sponged it.  I used liquid pearls to add some snow and attached the focal image and sentiment flag to my background with pop dots.  The bg paper is Kaisercraft Mistletoe, and the gorgeous red ribbon is from the new Winter Cheer Stamp TV kit.

Here's another card made with this set, if you missed the release party!

{TCP Tuesday 277} Nature's Hello

TCP Tuesday was an inspiration challenge this time around, and since I'm not big on Halloween, I took the colors from the photo and made a sweet penguin card instead. : )  I used stamps from both Strange and Wonderful and Nature's Hello.

Hi everyone!

I have a card to share today with Melanie's new Fabulous Holiday Fillers set.  It can be used with her super popular Fabulous Frame set to dress it up for all the holidays, but today I used some of the parts by themselves to create a clean and simple card that is perfect for Valentine's Day or an anniversary.

I stamped the little hearts with Versamark ink onto a small square of heavy Pure Luxury White cardstock and embossed them with clear embossing powder.  Then I sponged over the hearts with Passionate Pink and Wild Lilac inks.  I wrapped my focal image with some gold cord before I popped it up on the front of my card base.  Then I stamped my greeting in Black Onyx ink.  A simple card that makes a big statement! : )

{LOTV} New Stamps

Oh, look!  It's Christmas!! : )

I received a few sweet Lili of the Valley stamps in the mail late last week and I was thrilled to be able to color one up for the "Anything Goes" challenge on their blog and SplitCoast.  I colored James Bear (he's retired, sorry!) with my Spectrum Noir markers and used some Kaisercraft Mistletoe paper as the background.

{Simply Stamping} Fall Leaves

Hi all!

Just a clean and simple, well simple-er card today, cuz I'm fighting with the cold that my husband so sweetly shared with me.  I stamped the Oak Leaves onto a piece of ivory cardstock and then onto four different sheets of paper from my  BoBunny Christmas Collage pad.  I cut out different leaves from each sheet of paper and pieced them back together over the main image.  I added a little shadow with my Spectrum Noir Markers, some enamel dots and a little ribbon/cording/tag embellishment, before matting it and attaching it to my card base.

Here's today's Stamp Simply shopping list!

{Gina K Designs} Let God Steer

Did you know that there is a Gina K Release this Thursday?  And that there will be a NEW winter themed Stamp TV kit coming out???  I just love my Stamp TV kits!!

This card is made from a kit that came out this summer called "Here Comes the Sun".  (While the kit as a whole is no longer available, you can still get this wonderful Ship to Shore stamp set and the Here Comes the Sun patterned paper pack at the Gina K Designs store!.)

After assembling my base with Heavyweight White Cardstock, Black Onyx and a sheet of patterned paper, I cut out a rectangular panel from a piece of watercolor paper and stamped it with a few layers of waves.  My boat was first stamped in Warm Cocoa ink, then stamped in Red Hot and Turquoise Sea ink, so I could cut out the sails and flag and piece the boat back together.  I added a few gulls and the sentiment in black, then I pulled out my eyelets and found some red ones to add a little color and follow the "porthole" look.

{Stamp Simply} Holly Jolly

Hello again!

I have a quick and easy card to share with you today!  I've been playing along with some of the Hope You Can Cling To challenges at SplitCoast Stampers and one of the challenges was to use strips of paper on your card.  What a great idea for this card!  I pulled three papers from the BoBunny Christmas Collage and pieced together a background, complete with a snow storm-ish looking paper for the sky.  Then I stamped and cut out the snowman, his hat and a few stars, and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.  I attached the cut pieces, stamped a greeting from the Christmas Vintage Labels Seven set and added a few rhinestones, just for fun.

{The Cat's Pajamas} TCP Tuesday

Hi again!

I have a couple of cards for The Cat's Pajamas TCP Tuesday Color Challenge using Rust, Dark Blue and Light Grey.  I sort of stretched it with the top one... the light grey is light blueish-grey and is in the DP. : )  I used the Mojo Monday sketch, but skewed the panels rather than leaving them straight.

Here's my TCP entry with the right colors... :)

{Stamp Simply} CAS Poinsettia

It is so fun around the holidays to pick up a new paper pack (or two, or six!) to play with.  Today I used a pretty pack from Basic Grey called "Evergreen".  The patterns are perfect for the holidays and beyond!

For my main image, I stamped the Stampavie Poinsettia stamp on a piece of Ranger Watercolor paper that I had cut out with a pierced rectangle die.  I stamped it in Versafine Black Onyx ink so I could watercolor with my Distress Markers.  Basic watercoloring (without a lot of shading) is a quick way to color large images! When I was done I attached it to my patterned paper mats and then I stamped a sweet little tag with the JustRite Applique Christmas Labels One set and popped it up over my image with a little gold string bow for a simple and elegant card.

{Stamp Simply} And to all a Good Night!

Hello friends!

Have you been following along with the 12 Days of a CAS Christmas posts on the Stamp Simply blog?  Today it is my turn to share a card and I have a fun one for you to try!

Did you know that Sharon carries a number of types of satin cutout ribbon in the store?  Here I've combined 4 different types to make a scene.  I used a doily and some mulberry paper to make a moon and some snow, then layered in some trees and snowflakes and finished off with a few flying reindeer.  It feels like a scene out of
 Twas the Night Before Christmas!

Here are the products that I used on my card...

{Gina K Designs} Stamp Out Cancer Blog Hop

Welcome to a very special Gina K Designs Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone and welcome to my stop on the Hop!  We are so happy to share this new stamp set and patterned paper pack, Fight Like A Girl designed by Gina!   They are both available in the store right now!!

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month we are kicking off the first week with this cancer themed release and a full week of challenges on Stamp TV. Each challenge has a prize giveaway, so be sure to play along!

For every stamp set sold this month, Gina K Designs will be making a donation to the American Cancer Society for cancer research.  So enjoy the hop and then watch for a new challenge every day in the Stamp Out Cancer Forum on Stamp TV!

I have three cards to share with you today, one specifically geared for Breast Cancer and two others that are appropriate for encouragement for any type of cancer - or any other time someone could used a little virtual hug!

I kept my first card clean and simple with lots of white space.  I embossed the cancer awareness ribbon in white and then diecut it with a Floral Ovals die, sponging it with pink before I removed it from the die.  I love that you could use any color ink on this card to make it applicable for any other type of cancer or disease.

My second card features the gorgeous patterned paper in this pack and a beautiful butterfly colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  If you look carefully you'll see some Liquid Pearl dots on the wings.  Soooooo pretty in real life!  My butterfly is popped up to give it the illusion of flying above the card.

And just one more card using the rest of the patterned paper from the last card.  This time I used the sweet pot of soup and colored it with copics, popping it up over a mat cut with the Spellbinders Pierced Circle die.  I stamped the sentiment on the "less fussy" piece of patterned paper, so I didn't lose it in the design.

Be sure to stop back over the week to see more cards made with this set and paper pack and play along with our challenges on Stamp TV for some AMAZING prizes!  See you there!  Now off you go to see what our wonderful guest designers of the month came up with!

Here's the list...
