Hello Everyone!!! Welcome to our Stamp TV Friday Funday Holiday Hop!!
Today is going to be SO MUCH FUN!!! I've asked some of my fellow Gina K Designers to help me make this an extra special FRIDAY FUNDAY. You should have come here from the Stamp TV Kit Addicts group and I'm your first stop!! For today's hop, I challenged each of the designers to come up with a project or two using just a few of the supplies from the Winter Cheer Stamp TV kit. Here's a picture of the supplies we could use...
(I let them use as much gold cord and as many brads as they wanted.
I'm nice like that. LOL!!!)
First a simple snowman card. I layered my patterned paper on a Christmas Pine mat, then stamped and colored my snowman on a circle diecut. A white ribbon, a tag with a sentiment stamped in Charcoal Brown ink, and a Christmas Pine Scalloped Circle mat complete my card.
My second card is festive... and SO easy! I cut and embossed a pierced rectangle, then stamped it with snowflakes and a sentiment from the kit. I added some gold brads and a little gold cording, then I popped the panel up over another rectangle of white, backed with a piece of Christmas Pine. I was hoping the swirlies in the patterned paper and the snowflakes with the gold brads in them would give the feel of the fireworks we often see welcoming in the new year. Speaking of the brads, did you notice that I have three pops of gold (2 brads and the bow) that roughly make the shape of a triangle? Just a little trick that helps use your embellishments to pull your cards together!
Sooooo ... Would you like to win a limited supply kit of your own? Just hop from blog to blog and gather all the parts of a phrase that will give you some exciting information. Then unscramble them and send the completed phrase to Tricia at thestampersstitches@gmail.com. Be sure to leave a comment, too!!!! We'll draw a winner on Monday so you can (hopefully!) have your goodies before Christmas. : )
Here's my part of the secret phrase... KIT ARRIVES
OK, now, off to Karen's blog for more inspiration! Thanks so much for stopping by!
