Hi everyone!
There's a fun challenge over at
The Cat's Pajamas this week to CASE a card from one of the DT members. I saw this card by Julie Elak on the list of cards to case and just loved it, so I had it in mind when I started mine. Here's Julie's...
Now I'll show you mine, and I'm pretty sure that you will say, "Oh, that poor girl doesn't know what CASEing a card means!!" And you could be right. But really, haven't you ever started to CASE something and then it had a mind of its own and went wherever it wanted to?? Haven't you??? That's what this one did. But I decided to link it anyway, so Julie could see that I loved her card. : )
So... to continue the story... I wanted a card for the HYCCT challenge over at SplitCoast about the weather that you disliked the most. And mine would be when it is gloomy and cloudy and you can't see the sun for DAYS and it rains or snows for DAYS and the dogs don't want to go outside and ... well, you get the picture. So I pulled from Julie's card the white space and the break between the top and the bottom and the colored card base and used her plane placement for the placement of my sentiment... and here it is...
The sentiment is from one of my FAVORITE sets,
Strange and Wonderful. You really should have this set, if only for the little tiny butterfly that I've used over and over and over and over and over. But today I used the words instead. : ) And I used some of the
Stitched Clouds Cut Ups, too.
Thanks for stopping by today and listening to me ramble! I hope you'll play along with the challenge... and do a better job than I did!! : )
